Choosing a career is a big decision. It is something you will be doing every day for the rest of your life. The pressure to pick the right one can make it hard for you to even decide. Unfortunately, many people never do because they are over-thinking. I found the right career for me through trial and error. Not everyone gets it right the first time. Visualizing yourself choosing a career is a start, but there has to be action taken if you want to make a decision.
Clarity comes from engagement not thought. The more you think about something, the less likely you are to do it. It took me a year to actually start my blog because I was afraid of putting my self out there. I was over-thinking all of the “what-ifs.” I was freaking out over everything that could go wrong.
Sometimes the very thing holding us back is ourselves. Doubt is a major dream killer. Doubt is a side effect of perceived failure. Doubt happens when your reality doesn’t match what you believe your life should be like. You surrender to your limiting beliefs and decide to live a safe life rather than taking a risk.
Don’t feed your doubt with negative thoughts. Speak positively over your life to build up your faith in yourself instead. @thrive2inspire- Share this on twitter.
I don’t know what is impacting your life in this moment. However, I do know that this moment has the power to impact the rest of your life. Time isn’t the enemy. If you keep filling your sp with negativity and doubt there will be no room for possibility.
Self-doubt creates walls. I define these walls as anything from preventing you from trying new things discovering what it is that could open the door to prosperity and happiness. If you are going to move away from doubt you must open your mind. Take a leap of faith over your walls of doubt.
Forget about how everything should be and what you have done. For a moment just think about what it is that you can do now. An open mind gives you momentum to move forward.
If you want that promotion, career change or salary increase, you must ask for it. Don’t wait for approval. Take the leap without looking or holding back. Comment your thoughts below. Share this with a friend or colleague who could benefit from this post.
